Garry was one of the brightest, most innovative, caring humans and a great friend. Somewhere about 7th grade we found each other and had many long discussions about fixing the world. I loved later reading the articles he wrote at the reader. We talked about going to Israel but the six-day war intervened. We thought "Land of the Free and Home of the Brave" was an amazing turn of phrase and ours alone. I was greatly saddened to hear about his passing. My condolences to his family May his memory be a blessing.
