I didn't really know Jan in high school. I only remember her being in my senior year history class.
Some years ago on Facebook, she contacted me after reading my webpage regarding Bowen years. She and I became online friends over time after that initial contact.
Jan regularily commented on some of my Facebook posts and I discovered how much she cared for her large family. She was loved by so many people.
I was concerned for her when she started to go into the hospital early last year and wished her well. It was a shock to read last May that she was critically ill and then passed away not long after that.
She was a true Class of 1968 Bowenite. She is missed.
I remember Janice from as far back as grammar school at St. Ailbe's on Stoney Island. She always seemed happy and the few memories I can recall make me smile.

In looking through the 1968 Bowenite Yearbook, I believe Jan is pictured in the center of page 41.
