Not my favorite memories, but I remember the 1967 snowstorm and a shooting in the cafeteria.

The study hall on the 5th floor, I've tried to forget.

I would tell myself to move to the northern suburbs where the school system and facilities available to students were so much better.

I write, do research, photography and travel. I'm also very involved in volunteer work as part of the Committee on Admissions for a local medical school. Just finished writing a memoir on my aerospace activities, which started out as a hobby at Bowen and continued through the Apollo 11 moon landing.

I covered the Apollo 11 launch for a group of college newspapers; also became an avid skier, and hold the record at Vail Valley Medical Center for the most numerous fractures in my tibia and fibula as a result of a racing accident.
Also, a avid bike rider and golfer. Last trip there, I biked down the volcano Haleakala in Maui.
Still love cars, and I've been to several hundred (Nascar or Indycar) auto races, including 43 Indy 500's and all the Brickyard 400's

Yes. Been to Singapore which is about as far away as you can get. Favorite vacation spot and the one I've gone to most frequently is Hawaii. Returning to Maui this Feb for several weeks. Recently, went back to Israel, and of course to New York where I spent my summers growing up on the beach in Rockaway.

Learn to fly beyond my initial lesson in a Cessna 150
